Overview/Class Description: Embark on a transformative journey into the world of cake decorating with Kathleen’s Cake Decorating workshops . Designed for local students seeking to master specific techniques or start the esteemed techniques of the Joseph Lambeth Method, this comprehensive program offers a structured curriculum spanning over multiple weeks. Key Highlights Include: – **Progressive Learning Structure: ** Each session spans 5 weeks, with a total of 10 sessions required to complete the entire 150-hour course. Within each 5-week session, students will complete 1 to 2 Lambeth cakes, culminating in a final three-tier Lambeth wedding cake project to conclude the master course. – **Comprehensive Technique Master: ** Throughout the course, students will delve into all aspects of Lambeth techniques, including puffs, ruffles, over piping, string work, lacework, cushions, flowers, and more. The traditional Lambeth method will be complemented with modernized techniques and methods pioneered by Kathleen Lange. – **Hands-On Practice and Repetition: ** Weekly classes provide the ideal environment for students wanting to learn new or practice special skills and/or to perfect Lambeth techniques through hands-on instruction and guided practice.
