Date: To Be Announced Time: 2 Day Class - 8 hours per day- 1 hr lunch break Location: Confectionary Chalet Studio Supply List: All supplies included Foundation/ Prerequisite: (Suitable for beginners) Basic piping skills required, basic knowledge in making zig zags, shells, and stringwork Overview/Class Description: Have you always wanted to learn the secrets of baking, assembling and decorating a good tasting gingerbread chalet? In this demonstration and hands-on class, Kathleen will be explaining and showing students how to design, make gingerbread dough; cut out house pieces, without having misshapen pieces; bake and assemble a Gingerbread Chalet centerpiece during first class. The second class each student will be bringing their own creations, frosting, candy and decorations to assemble and decorate during class, with Kathleen’s supervision. For students with prior English overpiping experience, piping can be applied onto gingerbread houses to create an extraordinary gingerbread chalet!
